Sue Swanson is happy to work on her latest project: writing a book on laboratory methods for forensic investigations, when two recent local murder cases draw her attention. It seems something is wrong with the DNA evidence related to those cases. Reluctantly, she starts her own investigations, while her marriage gets seriously shaken up and the impact of the murders increases steadily. Eventually, her life becomes frustratingly complicated. This is the second Sue Swanson novel, where science meets the world of crime. Thrilling, tense and witty, the story is told from the perspective of an English scientific consultant living in Germany.
Received from Goodreads/author in exchange for an honest review. This book wasn't for me. It was slow and boring. I didn't find much excitement in this book and the format could've used more spacing. I was excited to read this book and the cover caught my eye, but sometimes beauty can be deceiving.
I won this book in a good reads giveaway. The book sounded really good and I was excited to have won it but than I was disappointed. I guess they can't all be great books. I found it to be very dull and slow moving and I thought it would never end.
