Rate this book
After barely surviving high school…and his father, Ace Dean eagerly accepted an athletic scholarship and planned to party for four years. Instead, he met three guys who would become his brothers. Then one night a game of cards changed all their lives.

Fast forward fifteen years…

Ace met Lucy while he was performing at the Underground and since that night his life hasn’t been the same.

Lucy Jenkins thought she was happy and in love…until she attended her cousin’s bachelorette party and became up close and personal with the “entertainment.”

Ace and Lucy come from such different backgrounds and yet their lives have become so intertwined. They’ve tried to avoid one another but it seems fate keeps pulling them back together.

Can Lucy accept Ace’s performances at the Underground and if she can’t, is he willing to give it up for her? How will Lucy’s father react when he finds out the young man he took under his wing, who has since become his best Lieutenant and decorated firefighter, is a stripper?

Will Ace and Lucy’s love story have a happy ending or will it just be an Underground Affair?

Ace Dean barely survived his early, but accepted an athletic scholarship, he had planned on partying the entire time, however he met three guys who would become his brothers. And as chance would have it one night game changed everything in all their lives.
Fifteen years later........................…
Ace meets Lucy while he was performing at the Underground, and his life has not been the same and since that night his life hasn’t been the same.
Lucy Jenkins believed she had everything in her life, but what she did not anticipate was betrayal from her boyfriend, or that Ace would play such a significant part in her life.
This Story is more then just their story, this story involves love, hate, murder betrayal and possible loss. Chace, Declan, Shane all play major rolls here and are great characters, slowly they all grow and worm their way into your heart, well did to me, can't wait to read more about the rest of the gang and see how their lived develop.
If you want to know if Ace and Lucy find the happiness they both want read the book, great story, great characters.

Michelle Iannarelli wrote another awesome series. The first one being, Ace of Spades. You meet all the main characters in this book but Ace and Lucy are the important ones to the first book. Just saying it doesn't matter what a person does for a living; just that they love one another unconditionally.

GREAT STORY!!! Michelle Iannarelli is a new author for me. I really enjoyed this story. I love the emphasis on family bonds. The characters are so well written. While this is Ace and Lucy's story, you learn a great deal about the other characters too. I can't wait to read more in this series.

There was a lot of skipping around from character to character that often times had me perplexed as to who was to truly be the main characters. There seemed to be just as much to read about Shane and Robert or Shane and Luke as there was to read about Ace and Lucy. Ace's actions at times didn't seem to be in line with the love that he claimed he had for Lucy. There seemed to me to be some things that contradicted themselves throughout the book, which caused some issues for me. The sentences were short and choppy at times. There seemed to be a lack of details when describing the actions or scenes. I was left with wanting more in the story to help portray the feelings, but a sense of too much going on to be able to keep track of who was doing and saying what.

Ace of Spades has it all!

The first book in Michelle's new series has it all. With a sexy cast of characters in Declan, Ace, Shane and Chase there's a favorite for everyone. I love the family bonds throughout the story and love more that they were unconventional. It here were tender moments, steamy moments and dramatic ones. Perfectly written the story just flowed so well. I can't wait for the book in the series.

So GOOOOOD!

I loved this story! I love Michelle's writing style easy to read, always hot and I do love how she has little bits of the main characters stories in each book of the series as well as having the two main characters story be the center of the story! I love Ace & Lucy and Declan & Shane & Chace! I so can't wait for the rest of this series! I need it!

Every scene felt rushed. It felt pieced together.

Didn't care for any of the characters. Way too many misunderstandings between everyone. It was sort of ridiculous. There were OW and too much not good enough stuff. Don't care for either.

Certain times I just skipped mostly Chace POV nothing was even going on.
