I will lead with saying that I fully intend to try a few of the recipes in the second half of the book, but have not done so yet.
The first half of the book is essentially an extended instruction page for making viili using a starter acquired from the author's online store. As someone who has been making viili for a few months now using a slightly different method from a starter acquired from someone else (though the process is simple enough either way), I can't say I learned much new except that it did provide a few ideas on things I could try to slightly vary my results.
Not bad, and it is in some regards informative, but it does read more like an instructional booklet that would come with an order of starter from his store than like a free-standing book in its own right.

So the yogurt may be an amazing yogurt. However, I can’t buy the yogurt starter anywhere so I feel like this purchase was a waste of money. It should be the other way round. You get this book free with your first purchase of the yogurt starter.
