Rate this book
Growing up in Brownsville, New York, was tough on Laurence, and it got tougher when his mother was murdered. After going his whole life without ever knowing his father, his mother became the only person he could rely on. That was until he met his boss, Bishop Hall, New York’s biggest cocaine dealer.
Working for Bishop, his life became a little easier and it got better once he found his soulmate, Sharice, a beautiful young woman with a kindhearted spirit just like his mother’s. As time passed, tension grew between his crew and Paul Galvano, the head boss of the Galvano crime family because of a few misunderstandings. With his boss in a coma and the war with the Galvano family, he lost sight of his true objective; to find his mother’s killer.
Will his boss make it out of the coma and settle things out with the Galvano family? Or will the family kill Laurence before he finds out who was behind the death of his mother?

CERTIFIED BANGER

I loved everything about this book. Lawrence was a respectable upstanding man. Although a drug dealer he was a thinker and very loyal. Going through a tragedy at a young age and running into Bishop the man that helped him survive the mean streets also help mold him into the man he was. Simo Bishops jealous brother-in-law starts a vicious chain of events that also reveals something that will make or break Lawrence. Sharece and Lawrence meet in a bad situation but fall head over heels in love and are now expecting but will they make it is the question. I cannot wait for part 2 to see if they get their happily ever after. Great Read Jacori

Satisfied Reader

This story goes to show you who your true friends are. Who would've thought Bishop was behind Laurence's mother death. Simo was grimey for trying to kill Bishop after all that he did for him. Just so Paul can take back what he thought was rightfully his. So it cost them both big time. I loved Sharice character she loved Laurence no matter what. He did save her life. I wonder what happens to them in pt.2 Great Job

Great Read!!!

This book was crazy starting out lots of drama and crazy twisted things and turns.. The pace of the story could have been faster which would have made it an even better read. I'm be looking for part 2 for answers of a lot of unanswered questions bc book 1 left me hanging.

Thuggin

This book was crazy from beginning to end. Nothing but drama with plenty of twists and turns. It was kinda slow paced and not what I am used to reading, but it was still a good read with an enjoyable storyline. I am looking forward to reading part 2.

Thuggin' in NYC

Simo should of just told Bishop how he felt about how he was being treated. Laurence had a lot on his plate.
