Hazel
I don't know who I am anymore, or what I'm becoming. Time doesn't exist in this godforsaken Hell I call my life. Every time I find a semblance of hope, it's bled away. Just like I'm bleeding away. The longer he believes he's won, the more I die inside. I may be nothing but a shell by the time this is over.

Cash
I failed her. I couldn't keep her safe. Now I may lose her completely. We're running against a clock controlled by a madman and we don't know when he plans to end his game. Every minute that passes without finding him makes the thought of killing him that much sweeter.

Phil
I didn't think it would be so easy. Pretty soon, my Snap will be on the streets and I'll be living the dream. That is, after I take Cash out. With him gone, I'll control not only the drug, but Hazel as well. If she listens, she will have a hell of a life. Right. Beside. Me.

Taint is so emotionally charged and twisted that after the first read, I had to immediately read this story again to be sure what I thought I read really happened!

Taint resumes beautifully where Snap (book 1) ended. The characters have evolved a great deal in this story. The drama escalated from five to a thousand on page 1. What happened to Phil? Will he get away with the beating he gave Hazel? The four horsemen, Hazel, Bobby, Erick, Cady's friendship is tested in ways they couldn't have imagined. Will their friendship survive the biggest test of all? The emotional upheaval will gut you.

The drug Snap is the root of all evil in Taint. Phil is a walking time bomb in his desire to monopolize the market. Cash is floundering all over the place attempting to do the right thing. Hazel is in a haze (literally) thanks to Cash and Phil. Bobby is the glue holding the entire crew together. No pressure, right? Bobby will do things in this installment no friend should have to do. Ever. Who in the haystacks gave Dale the green light to be the boss? I'm not sure how I feel about his infiltration of the four horsemen yet.

Are you expecting an HEA of any sort in this installment? Don't. Are you expecting feel good, happy, and syrupy bonding among the four horsemen? Don't. If you're expecting raw, gritty, and real emotions, issues, and tests of friendship, then jack friggin' pot! This installment is definitely a Jack Daniels read! The cliffhanger warrants at least three shots of booze alone! Talk about wild and crazy drama! It's like watching a tornado reek havoc in slow motion....the highest adrenaline rush times a million!

Five gazillion stars for this phenomenal read! I'm cheering (and secretly leaving sacrifices for the book gods) for Cash hoping he will come through like a wrecking ball for Hazel in Mend! He seemed a bit subdued in Taint. No worries though. It's been proven most wars are won by not reacting. I'm pumped to get my hands on the conclusion, Mend!

TAINT definitely did not disappoint. When I went into this book, I anticipated greatness. I didn't anticipate the level of greatness, however.

Tara Dawn is a phenomenal budding author. Her descriptions and character/story development are on point. She left me emotionally devastated when I got to the end.

She has this incredible ability of hooking you, and keeping you hooked.

Hazel is my hero. She's incredibly resilient. My heart bled for this character while reading.

Cash... He was still the same sexy, protective man, though he begins showing his dominance in this one.

Phil, he's still the same sick bastard - yet, he begins showing a level of 'caring' in his own sadistic way.

Not only do we have the three main stars accompanying us throughout this rollercoaster, but we get an inside view of Cady and Bobby's minds as well.

Captivating and enthralling - this series certainly will not let you go. It will take you through a wild ride of murder, deceit, mystery and more.

This series is a must read.

Well I loved book one, Snap but seriously this was kick ass fantastic. I started it thinking I would read a few chapters and ended up reading it all.

Make sure you read Snap before you read this.

I'm not going to go into the plot of the story in case you haven't read book one, Snap.

Hazel , Cash and Phils story continues in this story. I felt as if the author steps up her game in this story ( if that is at all possible)

Darker, more angsty and plenty of twists had me inhaling this story. I absolutely loved it.

I've got to mention the ending. The ending. Yes the ending had me gutted. I want to jump into the authors mind and see where this story is gonna go in book three. Even though cliffhangers do my head in I'm so glad I read this. Now let's see how patient I am for book three:)

What a ride

This is another ride to Tara's Snap Trilogy. Phil is still a crazy psycho, Cash is still a sexy beast, and Hazel is stronger then ever! This trilogy will not disappoint.

Tara Dawn is so good at writing dark and thrilling suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat and leaves you emotionally wrecked. After reading Snap, I knew that she was just getting warmed up with the twisted and mind-blowing storyline she began weaving in book 1 of the series. Taint picks up right where Snap left off, with Hazel's life hanging in the balance after Phil's brutal attack. With Phil on the loose, Cash and Hazel's relationship heating up, and the altered version of Snap causing destruction in its path, expect one hell of a roller coaster ride with this book.

The author has created a fantastic cast of characters in this series. The characters are all so well-written and intriguing. Hazel is surrounded by a great group of friends who have become family to her. They try their best to help her through the chaos that her life has become, and we are given additional POVs in this installment, which I loved. Hazel herself is such an incredibly strong woman. She has been through so much, but refuses to be broken. Phil's obsession with her has caused her so much pain, both psychologically and physically, and it is a wonder that she is still sane after what he put her through. It is the inner pain that she struggles to recover from, as she tries to heal from his latest vicious attack.

"They say tears are supposed to heal. That allowing yourself to feel and cry mends you back together somehow. If only tears could flush out the memories as they fall."

There to help Hazel pick up the pieces is Cash, who is as sexy and dominating as ever. Cash is the perfect male character in my eyes. He is just the right mix of good and bad, darkness and light, and I loved the way he was with Hazel. He refuses to allow her to push him away, as he realizes that he is feeling things for Hazel that he never expected to. I was so glad that he finally opened up to her and they began to break down each other's walls. I loved how protective he was of her, and was happy to see their relationship kicked up a notch as they both let each other in. He found as much solace in her as she did in him.

“She calms my inner demons when she’s around. Her nearness, her smile, and her touch make me whole instead of fractured.”

And then there is Phil- as twisted, violent, and volatile as ever. He is by far one of the sickest characters I have encountered, which is a testament to this author's fantastic writing abilities. He is a villain that you hate but can't help but be intrigued by. His desperation to get his hands on both Snap and Hazel make for some incredibly suspenseful moments in the book, and I was equal parts nervous and fascinated to see what was coming next.

“This is my chance to make her mine, to bend her to my will and make her realize she was meant to be here with me. I’ll convince her of it, even if I have to break her to do it.”

I seriously could not put this book down, not knowing what would happen next and who would become the next casualty in this twisted game. Poor Hazel is hit with one thing after another in this book. This author sure knows how to torture her characters. We were hit with a couple of shockers that I did not see coming, and I love reading stories like this that keep me hanging on to every word.

“None of us will ever be the same when this is over, and some of us probably won’t be around to see the end.”

The novel moved at a fast pace , was incredibly suspenseful, and had just the right blend of intrigue and romance. We were left with an ending that had me screaming at my Kindle, and I cannot wait for the final book in this series to come out. There are so many things that I want to see play out. Tara Dawn has created a fantastic dark series with the Snap Trilogy, and the final book will surely be an amazing conclusion to this series.

*****5 "I want more!" Stars*****
This book picks up where Cash, Hazel, Phil, Cady, and Erick left off in Snap. And Author, Tara Dawn, wastes no time getting right to it!

"Phil doesn't deserve a quick death. He deserves what he's done to everyone else and more."
Hazel ends up back in the clutches of Phil.. and one thing about Phil, he lives up to his reputation of being over the top batshit crazy! His form of "love" is some of the most fucked up I've seen. He's not happy unless he is bringing Hazel to the brink of death. He wants to break her body as well as her mind, to completely control her. But, most of all, he wants to keep her away from Cash.

Cash will do anything to get her back. Whatever it takes. I love this character, He's strong, alpha, and isn't afraid to show a little vulnerability. He and Hazel are soulmates that keep getting ripped apart by the most tragic of circumstances.

Cash has told Hazel the worst thing about himself, and even though she's angry, she can't deny that she loves, and craves, him.
There are a lot of characters in this series to keep up with. But each are well placed and have a purpose in the story. I haven't found a single one that made me think, "Hmmm, what's the point?" It's like a finely choreographed chess game with all the pieces moving in sync for a common goal. To get Cash and Hazel back to each other, where they belong.
Taint, like Snap, is dark. I love dark. I crave dark. And Author, Tara Dawn, feeds my craving. She took me, as a reader, right into the book. I felt like I was standing there in the same room with these characters, feeling the pain of loss, and hoping for survival.

It's hard to say much about the story line in this book without giving away any major spoilers.

I want book three. I want it right now. So write fast Tara! I'll be waiting!
Like Snap, Taint ends in a cliffy. I knew this going in but... damn it... it still took my breath away... literally! At the end. I was screaming "NOOOOOO!" at my Kindle... okay and yes, at Tara Dawn too...
I can't even put into words how much I loved this second book in the Snap series. I didn't want it to end, I didn't want to put the book down, I wanted the entire story to keep going until I find out who does what!

But noooo.... Tara has to tease us! Again!

As a BETA reader.... I promised to give my honest review. Ok. Here goes! Tara Dawn I want in your head -- like now!! I'm somewhat speechless but certainly not wordless. Ahhhmmazzzzzing! I loved Taint from the first sigh to the last gasp. The only flaw I thought the book had was that it stopped. On. A. Cliff.... again! I seriously felt like the biggest greedy ho-bag because I wanted more immediately!
You must know all the characters by now (and if you don't because you haven't read SNAP yet.... get to reading yesterday already!) Taint picked up at the extremely emotional free-fall we left off at with Snap... as in the real world of pain and heartache we find Hazel battling fiercely but certainly not alone. Many characters play front and center. Emotions that play key in this book are anguish, fear, disbelief - love, hate, desperation, loneliness - oh hell, every emotion I know of is included somewhere within this story.
Tara Dawn spins the stories off all the different relationships within this book, into a neatly woven blanket of endless emotional scenarios. Fight for life and survival as well as fight for love or endless pain. Can Cash and Hazel battle the the need to be together or will a devastating past for both of them create a future of misery apart?
As in every twisted emotionally dramatic story there always has to be a Phil. Ughhh. The raw hatred I have for Phil and his cruelty to all the characters within this story is so vibrant that i have already decided that Mend (3rd book) better damn well come with coupons for some serious therapeutic counseling!!!
As a reader, I am envious of the words that gifted authors like Tara Dawn literally spin and weave into a story that I find myself so emotionally involved in.
If I was able to give this book a 10 rating I certainly would. Cover to cover I wouldn't change anything!

WOW, WOW, WOW!
Phil is one sick bastard! We learned that in Snap. Hazel is one of the strongest women I've ever read about. How that woman holds herself together while still being capable of feeling for others is incredible.
Cash's true colors are surfacing and I'm loving this dark, twisted creature that it's turning him into.
SNAP is taking lives and holding prisoners daily in Hazel's little town. She's seen for herself how the drug can take someone's life from their family without any remorse. She despises the asshole that brought the tragedy disguised as a pill to her once safe town. Cash has every reason to be worried about her reaction once she knows the truth.

In Taint, we have the privilege of hearing point of views from Hazel, Cash, Bobby, Cady & Phil. Bobby is trying to steal my heart from Cash. I'm trying to be faithful but it's really hard when Bobby takes one for the team.

Prepare yourselves for one fucked up roller coaster! Bring the liquor (wine won't help you through this one), turn off your phone and put the fam to bed before you start this one!

If Amazon allowed reviews with cursewords, that would be all this would get, because holy hell Tara Dawn, what did you just do to me!!!

Taint is... masterful... suspenseful, intense. The way with which Tara Dawn has written these characters I'm so drawn into this story that I couldn't put it down. While Snap was dark, dangerous ride, Taint follows up as the raven colored counterpart that delivers on all levels.

Forget being a rollercoaster, Tara takes you on a dark, twisty high and brings you right to the edge. I am addicted in every single sense of the word and detoxing from Taint and Snap will not be fun.

So much to say about this but I won't rabble. First of all this is part 2 of snap. May cause triggers for violence and drug use. Ok picks up right where snap left off and wow just wow. I didn't think I could love this story more. But I do. Tara bought me completely into this book. I felt everything the characters did, and she goes into the minds of the characters and we learn more about them. My heart was racing at time. Absolutely loved it. One of my all time favorites. Its rare for secondary characters to really pop to me but in this they sure did. It well written and gives more answers we learn more things and she brings the drama and the love we got in snap in this but more. Warning cliffhanger that leaves you screaming for more. Definitely another hit from tara can not wait for book 3.

Taint is the second book in the SNAP trilogy. This book did not disappoint, and picks up right where SNAP left off. It's so intense, I found myself not breathing at times. I loved this book, and was hooked from the first page to the last.
I loved Dale and Cady in this book and hope to see more of them. Hazel is put through the ringer, and I have to wonder just how much more she can take. Hopefully in Mend, she can find some peace.
Looking forward to the third book, because this ends in a cliffhanger.

I have started this review many times, attempting to do this book the justice it deserves. My only advice is that you NEED to read this story!

This book is a semi-dark, unpredictable story that will leave you feeling bereft and EMOTIONALLY DEPLETED!! It swallowed me whole and surpassed all my expectations to where this story would go. Tara Dawn's superb writing skills have amplified and she demonstrates that in this book allowing the reader to become so immersed, it seems as though you are witnessing the events first hand.

The story continues from where the author left us hanging in the first book; SNAP. Along with the lead female, the handsome hero, and the demented villain; Tara Dawn has broadened and developed the supporting characters contributing to the story making it beyond exceptional! The aftermath of what these characters endure is beyond traumatic and hellish!!

TAINT as well as SNAP may disturb or offend those that are sensitive and squeamish to some of life's harsh realities.

Taint is the second book in the Snap trilogy....I loved Snap so I knew the bar was set high on what I expected for the next installment...and not only did Tara deliver but she exceeded all my expectations of what I anticipated would happen.....Not only do you get more insight into the twisted and dangerous mind of Phil and what he is willing to do and put Hazel though to get what he believes he deserves but you also get introduced to Cash's friends Joseph and Dale and how they fit into all of this, Bobby plays a bigger role in this installment and you get another insight into Cash....where that will lead we will have to wait for Mend the final installment in the Snap trilogy to find out...will Hazel and Cash get their happily ever after? Your guess is as good as mine but I can't wait to find out.......

What did I just read?? And why do I feel like I'm going through withdraws already?? "Survive."?!? Taint is the second in the series and you need to read Snap first so you can have your head messed up a little before reading Taint which will just totally ruin you. I honestly don't know how to put my feelings or thoughts into a review about Taint, I just feel too much and NEED more. I do know I LOVED the many POVs and how well they flowed together. The characters are...they are something and my brain is fried. Love the unique twisted storyline, I didn't know how much more twisted one could be after reading Snap...but Tara Dawn did it with Taint. Now I'm just surviving until book 3.

Speechless .... I don't even have words but I believe it was said best at the very end of this story .

The SNAP Trilogy, will be available this summer. Until then, just go through motions. Survive.

Hazel has to be one of the unluckiest people ever , if that's even a word..
I was not disappointed with book 2 and can not wait till book 3 .
I love this authors writing ...greatness . I finished this book in one sitting only taking a few minutes break when I would get mad or frustrated. Cady frustrated me at one point .

Looking forward to reading more !!

Wow, just wow. I'm totally at a loss for words! This book is another WTF kinda read. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. You won't be disappointed, this was so worth the wait! I don't know how the author functions with these characters in her head. But am so thankful that she gets it out and shares it with us. Can't wait for the next book to see where this crazy train ends up.
And for the record,
I still LOVE Cash and
Phil is still and A$$HOLE!

OMG...TARA YOU ARE KILLING ME WITH THE CLIFFHANGERS!! What a stopping place!! Gggrrrr...

Seriously the characters are addicting...I NEED MORE!! *takes a deep breath*
OK...my emotions are all over the place with this storyline with every page I turn, I am more and more invested not only with Hazel but her friends (Cady, Erick, Bobby and WOW Cash)! I especially LOVE Hazel and Cady's 'bestieship' it reminds me a little of my bestfriend of 30+ years (or 100 years hehehe) I don't know what I would do without her.

This trilogy is a definite...MUST HAVE!! If you like sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat, nerve wracking intrigue...IT IS HERE!!!

FINALLY!!! I could not wait to get my hands on this book! I mean Snap left you hanging and I can honestly say it stayed with me. Little things would remind of this story. Please make sure you read Snap before Taint or reading this review.

I read this book in a couple of days. I don't think I could read it in one sitting just because it was so intense. It picks up right where Snap ended but you do get to see a little of Cady's POV. I felt so bad for Cady and Bobby. They found Hazel were trying to deal with all of that. Obviously, I felt bad for Hazel too but she was out of it at this point. I was not very sure of Bobby in Snap but I really fell in love with him in Taint and OMG I don't even know what he is going to be like now. I can't give you anymore details on this but I mean I have no words. I liked Erick in the first book but I was not a huge fan in this one. Cady is really and truly a good friend. I liked in the first book and I still like her now.

Cash...oh Cash...I mean do I hate him because helped create this drug and set all of this in motion? Do I love him because he trying to fix it all? Do I hate him because he is still screwing everything up? I don't know how I am supposed to feel! I love getting to see his POV and it helps me to not hate him but I want to punch him in the face too.

Phil...he is in my top 3 of most HATED, JACKED UP, PSYCHO characters ever. I mean the level of crazy that is Phil is out of control. I mean WOW. I want to know what is wrong with Tara that Phil came out of her. The level of hatred I have for him is amazing to me.

Tara Dawn is an amazing author. The fact that she can pull so many emotions from me is great. The book ended with another cliffhanger and I believe I had to post on the blog about sitting there thinking how I could not believe that she left me hanging this way.

It is really rare for me to this but I am giving Taint 5 stars out of 5. I wish I could give it more. I am a little scared of what Mend is going to bring on a couple of levels but I can't wait to get it. Go get this book and get ready to be dragged into this craziness.

Stars: 4 (would have been higher but that cliffy)

I was given an ARC of Taint written by Tara Dawn for an honest review, so here goes. Taint is the second book in "The Snap" trilogy and continues where Snap left off. To understand Taint YOU MUST read Snap first (you will enjoy it). I liked the story and the book is written well. How many times can one man get to the same women and do the same things to her over and over again, I hope that sick MFer gets his in book 3. if you have issues with abuse this book is not for you. Some really crazy and sick stuff happens to Hazel at the hands of Phil once again. Thankfully the book is not just about what sicko Phil does. Hazel finally finds out who Cash really is. Of course she have to go through the bad to get to the happy, have to wait and see. I do love how she writes the story from each person's point of view and it reads very well. Ok to back to how the book begins- Cady (Hazel's Best Friend), Erick (Cady's boyfriend) and Bobby (friend to all 3) find Hazel after she is attached by Phil again. Once Hazel has been released from the Hospital she doesn't want to let anyone really see how she is doing, so she does her best to pretend like she is doing fine. She finally gets her 3 friends to give her some space. Once that happens she is kidnapped again. This however is by Cash and he has her brought to him so he can protect her. Hazel finally finds out what Cash and his friends have been up to. She doesn't like what he is doing, but he needs to keep her safe. Unfortunately she isn't as safe as Cash thought. Hazel once again is put through HELL and this time she isn't alone. Tara has one hell of an imagination and writes a great story, just hate its a cliffhanger. Taint has more bad in it then good, so hang in there and get to the end so we can get to book 3 and hopefully we will get that HEA. Taint definitely puts you through an emotional roller-coaster ride. Thanks Tara for the freaking cliffhanger again...it just ends again... You are good at that!!! Now to wait for the final book. Thanks for the well written book. Enjoy and Happy Reading.

Taint by Tara Dawn

This is the second book in the SNAP Trilogy so if you haven't read book 1 you need to do that first.

This book leaves begins right where the last one left off and right from the beginning your heart is racing with how Hazel is left. This book includes her best friend Cady's points of view as well as Cash, Hazel and Phil.

As the police know who beat Hazel they are keeping an eye on her but so is everyone else and it is apparent that she is still in lots of danger. As Cash finally opens up to her and lets her know what is going on she must decide what is right for herself.

There are so many mixed allegiances and you wonder whose side everyone is on in this game of life and death. Your heart never stops racing until the end when your left with an OMG - when is the next book coming out??!!

So I did love this book and it's hard to write without any spoilers but this book is such an adrenaline ride right from the beginning and it is so sad to see where it is all going but no good comes out of drugs, no matter how innocent it begins.

Hazel is the innocent girl stuck in the middle with a psycho ex-boyfriend and a new boyfriend who made the ex mad. He friendship with Cady is amazing and the two have a great support system. Yet as they protect each other they seem to get themselves into more danger which results in some really bad stuff happening.

I can't wait to see how this book ends!

Taint is a fantastic follow-up to Snap! From the first page, Tara Dawn weaved a dramatically engaging storyline. However, there were times when TD’s vivid writing detailed extremely gruesome scenes, which caused me to step away for a few. Nonetheless, I always returned ready to discover what the characters would have to endure next. TD has a skilled manner of presenting well-developed characters, and there’s a thoroughly entertaining rhythm to her storytelling. For those who love strong-willed female protagonist, fierce heroes, and psychotic villains—Taint is an excellent crime thriller to add to your TBR list!

Even though this story is dark and troubled, you can't help but to have hope throughout the Entire story!!!
You are taken on a ride that will leave you with whiplash for sure.
There are so many players in this story that you are not sure who you can trust and who may turn their back on you at the flip of a switch.
Hazel has been through Hell and back and she's not sure she has what it takes to put it all back together again. Betrayal Lies and Deceit are extremely high in this nail biting Psychological thriller that will gut your soul and give you enough hope that it will be repaired enough to survive till the end.
Phil......... I can't even....... UGH!!!!!
Cash, oh my Broken Cash. he isn't as innocent as he seems but since you have read Snap you probably know that by now!!! He will stop at nothing to help save Hazel, even from herself.
There are so many characters in this book and they ALL have a significant role that make Taint the phenomenal read that it is.
Tara Dawn makes you Feel what the characters feel. the hurt, pain and grief these characters feel are devastating to witness and you will find yourself sucked into the hell that Is Taint!!!

I received an ARC for an honest review
Review by Whitney at The Club

Taking off where Snap ended, Hazel has had to endure being drugged and raped and ultimately dealing with it on her own. Her friends are all trying the new drug on the street which also happens to be the drug she has been slipped unbeknown to her. She's dating the man who helped create the drug she despises so much and doesn't know it yet. And in all this time, her stalker has been biding his time to strike and he finally has.
The story has many views and a lot of emotions. The biggest incident was Hazels near death by Phil's hands and everyone is just trying to move past it but then all hell breaks loose again. Phil is closer to running the drug himself and Cash is just trying to get out while he can all while protecting Hazel. When she is kidnapped the story seems to drag. I had put it down several times by that point because it just wouldn't get to the point n everything leading up to that was great but after I felt that more could have happened maybe, or things could have gotten to the point a lot quicker. Not was like dragging my feet. But the end. Well fu@$ me because I need more.

One day I read the blurb for Taint and I was drawn to turn all its pages. Fortunately I got a copy from the Author and I started sailing in the highs and lows of emotions-love, hate, desperation, crazy drama, darkness and so much more...
Taint picks up right where Snap left off, and develops with point of views from Hazel [this women has got some “strong” guts], Cash [he is one hell of a mystery to himself as well], Bobby [he is something, I think there is much more to him coming in “Mend”], Cady [wanna see more of him] & Phil [twisted, violent - hate him, kill him!].
The storyline is intense and the plot develops, jacketing the inner conflicts as well as surrounding. Character evolution is so surreal, it makes you feel they are around you. I specially applaud the dialogues as they gave me adrenaline rush.
As I rarely read a crime fiction, I did have a bit of a hard time getting into it, but I still enjoyed it. The cliff hanging “the gun shot” had left me greedy for the next installment “Mend”. Hazel’s character enthralled me- she is one hell of strong women! I love that I received a copy in exchange for an honest review. And honestly, I loved it.

TAINT (The SNAP Trilogy #2)
Tara Dawn
5 stars

TAINT definitely was worth reading. I finished the first book in the SNAP Trilogy, and couldn’t wait to dig into Taint!!

Tara Dawn is an exceptional author. The story flow and plot kept you “hooked”, with an ending that had me emotionally twisted up.

I believe that Hazel is the hero of the book. She has a resilience and strength that has you cheering for her. She’s everything I would hope that I am. Cash is protective and loving, but in this one, his demons show and he gets a little domineering. Phil is one sick twisted individual and needs some serious medical help, and maybe even to be in an institution. He even has himself convinced he’s a “caring” individual, in his own sadistic way.

In addition to the 3 main characters in this emotional gut twisting book, we also get to have a deeper peek into who Cady and Bobby are. Who they are gets fleshed out more, and you see the depth of character for both.

This series is definitely captivating, and is one that will keep you on the edge of your seats. It has it all, deceit, murder, drugs, sex, and of course a great love story!

You definitely want to check out these books.

There would be no end. Phil would find a way to get to her. He always found a way.

Hazel has seen first hand just how far Phil will go to get what he wants. People have been hurt on his path of destruction. There’s a small hope that her friends are looking for her but Hazel knows not to get her hopes up. In the end Phil always gets his way. No matter the cost.

This books picks up after the first book and keeps going. You’re instantly grabbed from the beginning and taken on a Snap-tastic ride full of suspense. I can’t even properly articulate how much I love this book or even this series. I am a huge fan of dark reads and this book did not disappoint! I can’t wait for the final book but at the same time I’m not sure I’m ready for closure just yet. Till then I will take my Snap and wait. 5 glorious stars!

Tara Dawn does it again in the second book in this series. From the first page to the last she keeps you on the edge of your seat every single second. All of our favorite characters are back and then some. After reading this book I am left boggled, I can't believe what I read and I am in desperate need of more. Perfectly flawless storyline. This book picks up right where Snap left off and takes you on the continued journey of Hazel and the rest of the crew. She is such a strong woman but how much can one person take? I still can't figure out what just happened!! This is a MUST read. If I could give it more stars I would. I love a book that gives nothing away and this is exactly what Tara does with this book. Fantastic!

I received this book for an honest review.
I'm emotionally exhausted from reading this it, I'm going to read a light romance next to feel clean again.
This story continues on from Snap. Phil is one sick obsessed freak and Hazel is his obsession.
SNAP is the drug this twisted tale is centered around, the dark evil work of making and selling...and the greed behind it all.
It's a roller coaster and I'm not sure who I hate and who I love anymore.
The plot is well thought out and the characters gritty and real. All in all an entertaining, if somewhat disturbing read.
It ends with a BANG literally, bring on the next one.

I was fortunate enough to read these book back to back, so I didn't have to wait long to read. I would encourage you to read Snap first before you start reading this one.
I love that she gives us multiple POVs, so that way we really feel the story. It was still very intense to read. These books are totally worth it if you like your books dark, scary, and really, really intense. They are well written and keep you on the edge of your seat. I was blown away and still trying to comprehend what I read... Definitely one of the best books I have read this year!!!
