As Dotty struggles to hold on to her memory, her children must fight to balance care for their mother and care for themselves. A funny and hilariously self-deprecating look at dementia's effects on a family, until Domingo sweeps the leg and we all realize that we've forgotten the first person affected by dementia is the sufferer herself. Solid.

Touching story of a family dealing with dementia. Domingo's writing is smooth and solid. His humor lands beautifully. The characters are well constructed and the action moves swiftly through the Christmas holiday.
