Exceptional book full of educational matter. I don't like the everyone has a label society we live in but I am very appreciative of some non narcotic ways to make life better
I picked up this book in the waiting area of the chiropractor's office. I wanted to take it home and finish it so badly! I went straight to the library where they didn't have it.
This woman had a sick daughter, wasn't getting actual help from doctors (b/c they had no idea what was wrong with her), the multiple drugs they put her on made her worse (she explains how and why with sources), and she went to work educating herself to the point of enrolling and completing medical school! What a woman!
I like that she found answers herself and took responsibility. What an awesome parent and great example to me.
Anyway, I only read the first part of the book and look forward to finishing it. So far, it gets 5 stars... I'll update my review and rating (if necessary) once I've read the whole thing.
informative, but apparently not a self-help book. difficult to pay attention to. mostly just looking at different causes for the symptoms of ADHD, instead of diagnosing and treating the symptoms themselves as a disorder.
