Written extremely well

Really enjoyed this book ,being born at Epworth and lived at Doncaster most of my life I am familer with all the places mentioned in the story and being born to a farmer in 1938 I can appreciate the poor people trying to scratch a living during those hard times,my father lost his farm due to flooding after the snow melted in 1947 's terrible winter. First class read , recommended highly.
