I found this story and Amity's predicament to be very compelling right from the beginning. As All That Matters drew to a close, I was very apprehensive about who was pulling the strings behind the scenes. I felt all of the mind games right alongside Amity.
This book/series was different from the other books that I have read by Olson, but it was still an incredible read. It's not the type of book filled with horror and brutality, but it definitely got into my head the way that Olson's other books have done. She really nails the building of suspense in her writing, no matter the genre.
As the pieces started to fall into place and the plot really began to thicken, I was very eager to see how everything would turn out for Amity and for the other girls as well. They were all trapped in similar predicaments. Everything appeared to be a struggle as they sought freedom.
The ending of this series really left me yearning for more and also shocked me a bit. The Red Light Ladies was a nice change of pace for me. Olson did a fantastic job writing an engaging tale with endearing characters, while still providing suspense and shock as per her usual dark style.

A very good read.

I am not sure who I missed these from Yolanda, but glad I found it.

The stories are all linked through Amity. She is now "working off" a debt in Amsterdam's Red-Light District. The debt is not hers, so she has no idea why she is there. We meet the girls she is with thought all the stories. When we get to find out why Amity is in the situation, she is in comes as a huge shock.
This is definitely a quick good read!
