Today I completed my 6-week journey with this lovely book. I had already read Ridge’s delightful Flash book about the donkey she and her family adopted. Having enjoyed her candid, humble, and humorous writing style, I was eager to read Made to Belong.

Part Bible study and part journal, this book helps the reader to not only identify a purpose but also to take measurable steps towards living that purpose. Ridge asks many open ended questions throughout the book and readers can respond directly in the pages. The tie-in ultimately begins and ends with God as Ridge explains, through Bible verses, that living our purpose means glorifying God.

Each week in the journey has 5 days rather than 7. So, I started each week on Sunday and felt a sense of purpose simply in having this structure for the project. I recommend starting your day with the book as some of the exercises are best accomplished in the morning.

I’m looking forward to reading about the Ridges’ newest donkey, Henry, and will be buying that book soon!

I really enjoyed this and I thought the author did a brilliant job of making a Godly example of Habakkuk. I appreciated the multifaceted approach to a relationship perspective as well!
