Apparently, the last, written in 1986, of this series which was off to a fair start. With a suitable history, an interesting main character, and a lively storyline.
I had to read this because of the title. It was a fun read and ended in an afternoon because it was so short. If you like the era of the British Navy on the high seas, this book and the other two in the series will not disappoint. However, Forster and O'Brian have covered much of the same ground.
