Love at first sight is a phenomenon with many opinions. Some people believe that it can happen and some people do not. Some have experienced it and some believe that it isn’t love they experience but attraction. Either way, love is love and it doesn’t matter how it’s found. All of us should believe in the power of love. Amber Mitchell doesn’t believe that love at first sight exists and she’s certain that love won’t happen for her at all. Love is the last thing on her mind. Dylan Morgan is at a point in his life where he wants to find the right woman and start a life. Unfortunately, things in the love department haven’t happened for him. He knows that the right one is out there and continues his search. He’s smart, sexy, and ready to have his own family. An unexpected meeting brings Dylan and Amber together. There is an instant attraction between them. Can Dylan break down the walls around Amber’s heart? Believe in love is a true love story about Amber a girl caught in a tragedy who is working hard to do the right thing and keep herself and her siblings together and Dylan who is a good guy who just instantly fell in love with her. Unfortunately I was unable to connect with the characters. To be fair, I read the book in its entirety and felt that the ending did improve the story slightly.
The spelling/grammar errors, repetitive use of words and lack of research absolutely can not be over looked. It is disappointing to read a story where the author used real life places and medical procedures inaccurately.
The villain of the story was mentioned ONE time in the entire story prior to the grand finale making the whole scenario seem outrageous, forced and unlikely.
While the author had good intentions and the potential for a great story, inexperience overshadowed the entire book.

Amber is raising her younger siblings, after a family tragedy leaves them alone. She makes sure they are loved and they have everything that they need. Leaving little for herself. Right before Christmas, Amber runs into her high school friend, Miranda who invites her over for Christmas Eve dinner. It’s there that Amber meet’s Dylan, Miranda’s brother. Their love is kismet and felt by everyone. Love blossoms between Dylan and Amber. But a potential rival appears, making a claim on Dylan, threatening their love and happiness.
Can there be a happily ever after for Amber? Is it fair to Dylan to bring all this baggage to the relationship?
Oh how I loved this story! It's a feel good kind of story and totally perfect for the holiday season. With each book by Janet Mota, I'm sucked in. Her writing style and the flare used to tell a story... I'm in love with! At the end of high school, Amber's father does the unthinkable. Leaving her to take care of herself and 2 little siblings. With college on hold, working day in and day out makes ends meet barely. Running into a friend from high school high changes Amber's life forever. Reading Believe In Love definitely makes you feel all warm on the inside. Definitely a must read!!
This book was so unexpected. I will say that when it started with "High School is finally over." I was concerned. I've read a bunch of college aged books. But, if you're like me, give it a minute. It jumps forward and it's a diamond in the rough. An amazingly well written story of Amber and Dylan. Amber doesn't have the best life and her struggles touched me. I won't give away the plot. Just read it. It's worth the time. Great job, Ms. Mota!
Janet A Mota has done another amazing job with writing in this book. It catches you from the first page all the way until you read the last word. The characters have great chemistry and blend well throughout the chapters. It doesn't matter if it is love or heartache the main characters still support each other.
I highly recommend this book and all of Janet A Mota's books for everyone to read.
