This book is written for the small business, professional practitioners, and those who work in the advertising field. Chock-full of real life examples, it provides the reader with a guide to avoiding the most frequently made mistakes in advertising. It covers everything from how to select and work with advertising counselors to evaluating which media to use, and when, to how you can "out advertise" the competition – even if you can’t outspend them. In addition to strategies for your creative and media campaigns, the book addresses the most critical item of all – how to effectively measure the success of your advertising.
I was expecting another book ready to guide you through the complicated process of getting past the Google captcha for the I don't know what Instagram like social media platform that is surely the best way any professional can hope to reach the target audience. Yet, it is quite on topic, although nothing mind blowing inside. Just common sense.
This would have been a great book ten years ago. Now, in a digital age, it's much less useful. However, if you want to know more about traditional advertising, it's simple, accessible, and comprehensive.
