Roger Legion and the attorneys of his San Diego insurance defense law firm finds themselves the subject of a federal investigation involving mail and wire fraud. Leading the investigation is a vengeful prosecutor with the nickname 'Crazy' Daisy. Her true desire is to send Roger Legion to prison or something worse. Roger needs to find the lawyer or lawyers responsible for the criminal activity. He turns to an old friend with the hope that the friend can find these rogue lawyers. Meanwhile in Sandpoint, Idaho, plans are taking place to rob an armored truck of one of their biggest hauls of the year. Before it is over, the FBI will want to talk to Roger Legion about this robbery. In a law firm, the goal is to become a partner. But if the opportunity is not offered, can it be taken?
Once again, after reading a story involving Roger Legion, I am nearly at a loss for words. LETHAL EQUITY’s powerful, extraordinary story is impeccably detailed and the reader is right in the middle or Roger Legion’s quagmires. I loved the Assistant Attorney General ‘Crazy’ Daisy. The armored car robbery was flawless and I was right in there with the action. LETHAL EQUITY is a lawyer’s nightmare that is sure to become a classic cautionary tale for any lawyer who achieves a certain degree of success. This page-turner is for anyone who loves a great story. Vince Aiello has once again told a legal story without any lull in the action. This story is what a legal thriller should be. I have never read a better legal thriller. Excellent is not good enough for it. When the movie comes out, I’ll be first in line!
