Short read and offers a few interesting insights but not the book I really wanted. I liked the pictures and the layout but I soon discovered this didn't have depth or in depth ideas. I'm not sure who this book is marketed for but it isn't for anyone struggling with a dogs behaviour. I found one topic and it was covered in 3 paragraphs, lots of ideas but no real tips to combat the issue. The book is more of a cute picture book and apart from that I can't recommend it to anyone needing opinionated expert tips. Dognitive Therapy is coming to my library shortly so I will check that out to see if it can strengthen some of these general ideas.

Recommended for all dog lovers

My View:
Every dog lover should own this book!
This book is beautifully presented – the photos are amazing, Alex Cearns you are to be congratulated for your work on this book – the dogs photographed here show so many expressions you fall in love with all of them.

The book – Laura Vissaritis has produced a book that not only is appealing but also has a wealth of sensible advice for all dog owners such as; rewarding positive behaviours, having routines, giving consistent messages, advice about how dogs communicate – multi sensory – using their body, ears, nose, and eyes,( Bob the Dog particularly favours tactile exchanges– he loves being cuddled, having his belly rubbed, leaning on you, sitting on you… loves being close to his humans).

“Remember the responsibility you have for your dog. You are, after all. The one she can’t live without.” *BOL

effective tool

The book had effective information but it was all in short bursts, with lots of photos but only a few topics covered, not in depth. Still it was informative

I found this book to be quite simple, without a lot of information, but it's cute and has some helpful tips.

As a picture book it was fantastic but unfortunately the content did not quite match the quality of the photos. Being a short book (which you could read in one sitting) it lacked detailed tips and strategies for understanding dog behavior and how to help them cope with living with humans.
