Clever series with an interesting protagonist

I'm not going to summarize the stories, as others will do so quite elegantly. I'm going to address the technical side of the work.

The storyline kept me entertained, so I would give the story 4 stars. I enjoyed the protagonist, enough so that when she'd do something stupid, I'd want to shake her and tell her to think before she did that. I will be anxious to see how she evolves in future stories. The stories are populated with characters so varied that they keep the suspense going.

The editing side did not fare as well, and I can only rate that potion as 2 stars. For example, in the space of approximately five lines, she refers to the same character as both "Arthor" and "Arthur". There are missing words throughout the stories, most falling in the category of "missing negatives." One example states that a that the person encrypting a document was clever, but quite clever enough. Since the code was broken, it should have read "but not quite clever enough." There are several of these instances, but not enough to make me put down the book (something that I do quickly when the grammar is bad).

Overall, I'm glad to have read these stories, and I look forward to reading more by this author. Let's hope for closer editing in the future.

ALERT: If you are offended by scenes with sexual content, don't choose this book.

Pretty good stories!

I enjoyed this series of books very much. I liked the characters and the interesting plot twists kept me guessing to the very end. I did see where it needed a little more careful editing, though.
