"A New baby for Christmas" is the second book in "Layla Down Under" series. It must be noted, however, that it's a prequel to the first book. This is a perfect Christmas story for kids!

Every kid in the family needs to learn how to interact with siblings. Specially when a new baby is about to arrive, there's a lot for the kids to get excited about. This story tells us how Layla prepares for the arrival of her baby sister. The illustrations are amazing as usual. Bron Whitley's books are both educative and fun! The Layla series also introduces Australia to international readers and what I like best about the series is that there are plenty of interesting and fun facts in the books outside the central plot.

Go ahead and gift your kids this book for Christmas! It'll be a rewarding experience for the little ones!

My youngest daughter is 9 years old and she loved reading this story! This is interesting, informative and easily relatable for children, especially those who are going through this particular situation in their families. Even my daughter who is not having to worry about any little brothers or sisters anytime soon loved reading this story. I loved the interesting bits about Australia added in and found that they made this even more interesting and fun to read! I highly recommend this to anyone with children and I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
