If you have never heard of John Langstaff and his Revels performances, I challenge you to learn a bit about him and them. He says in the introduction to this songbook, "Singing together is not as much a part of our lives as it once was". He goes on to lament that loss and explain what he has done with his Revels to try and bring back the music. I am very grateful for his efforts and to have this collection of songs as part of my family's library. What songs do you fear may become lost?
