Love that Comes from God: Reflections on the Family

Rate this book
The Love That Comes from God offers an attractive vision of the role of the family in today's world. Chiara Lubich addresses such themes as love, education, and prayer, showing how they shape the spiritual development of the family. This book is a valuable tool for families and those who minister to them. The material in this book can make a real contribution to the field. I found Chiara's insight on love as the first constituting factor of family to be outstanding. I see this work as truly helpful, especially strong on viewing family through the lens of faith. I will be glad to use it and recommend it. Barbara Markey, N.D., Ph.D.

The book has the vision of family life God would like us all to live. I agreed with her thoughts but it is a utopia to strive for and wish the world to follow. She simple wants us to be the example and hope others can grasp the concept. I felt there was a lot of repetition in the book that is why I gave it only three stars.
