Recently, I knew that I was going to spend a couple days in Baltimore. I ordered this volume to serve as an aid in planning things out. It turns out that this modest investment was quite worthwhile.
The book, given my specific interest, helped outline and organize the Baltimore visit. The summary of restaurants worth visiting by area was helpful. The attractions discussion helped orient the things that we did while in the Inner Harbor. The culminating event was a game at Camden Yards (what a great stadium) with the Orioles against the Yankees. A fine game!
And this rather slender volume helped make the time in Baltimore all the better. Recommended for those looking to explore Maryland and Delaware.
I've been having lots of fun reading this book and planning places to visit around our new homeland. It's not quite as much fun to read as the Insider's Guide to Baltimore, but it has a lot more information about surrounding areas. (Many points of interest outside of Baltimore are cheaper.) I'm looking forward to getting to the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic ocean, but some of those trips had to be put off because Drystan broke his arm and he can't go in the water with a cast. We'll be there soon! And then I can get pictures of the kid's on the Atlantic ocean to compare with the pictures of them on the Gulf of Mexico from last summer.
