The Lost Diary of Snow White trilogy was amazingly written and a great book. The main character is snow white and its about how she isn't quite ready for her happily ever after. So, she decided to switch up some fairy tales to show that a happy ending isn't for everyone. For example, she rescued little red riding hood from the big bad wolf and furthermore helped Gretel kill the witch.

This is a refreshing twist on the classic. In the beginning, it was apparent this work is intended for a younger audience. However I was completely mesmerized by the time I got to Peter Pan. The title of Snow's second story was a bit off putting but after reading the included intro, I can't wait to add it to my collection. Quirky writing that translates rather endearing.

Good for an 8-11 year old. An Adrian Moles kind of approach.
