Furthermore, the intention is to aid the development of critical perception and facilitate further analysis. The overriding criterion in selection has therefore been the framework of structure-conduct-performance for the industry, activity or firm. The emphasis is on the technical and organisational relationships between the governing factor input and output conditions and the objectives and control mechanisms of the decision-making personnel.
