Unbelievably bad. While it has some strong competition this is without a doubt the worst book I have ever tried to read. I love Christmas books and this has Christmas in the title, so it should be good, shouldn't it? It's my fault because I didn't check the reviews but in my defence it's a Christmas book and it's only 42 pages long, how bad could it possibly be? The answer is bad. I'll give you a very quick summary of the first three pages: First page gives us a picture of Anastasie's life, she's unpopular with braces and nerdy glasses, never been kissed and no apparent friends, she's in her senior year, a few days from graduation. 'College prom was so near and of course she had no date. Her egoistic, malicious classmates thought of pulling a prank on her. They were popular and everybody adored and feared them at the same time. One of the guys was single. And just for making fun of her, they decided that he will ask Anastasie to prom. He went towards Anastasie and asked if she could go to prom with him. She was flabbergasted. She has never been so close to a tall and damn hot guy. It gave her shivers. Without thinking she nodded. “YES”. It was a week till prom and Anastasie was already blindly in love with him. For that guy, named Fred, she didn’t turn out to be the way she thought. Fred told her, that he was dropping out of school and moving to Alaska for some personal reasons. And somehow, blind Anastasie, decided to go with him. She decided not to tell him what she has been planning and thought of surprising him. She packed her stuff, dropped out of college, and went to the airport to surprise him. She was standing there, thinking she found love and that the wait was over. She waited for him while holding the heavy bags. “What are you doing here? What are all these bags for”? He screamed at her. “I have decided to come along with you. Me and you together”, she smiled. “Are you insane? You know why I am moving to Alaska”? He asked angrily. “Why”? She managed a smile. “I am moving in with my girlfriend. It was just a prank, lady. How could you ever think that we have a match”, he shrugged, “Now make way”. Anastasie was broken.' As you can see the writing is 'interesting' and Anastasie is strange and delusional, this book was a DNF for me.
