Written in 2005, and naturally out-of-date, it still deserves four stars. I read through most of it before finding the section on Merida and seeing that the school I attended wasn't listed. But by then it was clear to me why I wasn't completely satisfied with my experience at a smaller school there. And I would have been prepared with the right questions before enrolling. My experience wasn't that bad--I just thought that I should have learned more. She did leave out the highly regarded Spanish Institute of Merida that I wasn't able to attend because of timing. Still, her rating system was extremely useful, and she described the education of the teachers, methods used, location and facilities, info on homestay and living, and what made that school unique. A great effort, from my view.
