Drugo is a 56-year-old rock star suffering from a lack of creativity. He is not only an alcoholic but also a womanizer, whose lovers include the wife of the Italian Prime Minister. From his official account Drugo posts her a Tweet, which instead of remaining private is instantly read by millions of people. The ensuing diplomatic sex scandal leads to the immediate resignation of the Prime Minister and turns the spotlight back onto the singer, Drugo, who decides to hole up in a Paris hotel with a his computer and Twitter page.The narrative overlaps with that of 16-year-old Diego from Torre del Lago, the best friend of Drugo’s son and the helpless victim of a strange sentiment that resembles love but frequently varies in intensity. Drugo and Diego appear to inhabit contrasting worlds but are unexpectedly drawn together, day by day, page by page.
