As I notes with book 2, there is a lack of originality in this series. This doesn't mean that the books are bad or not worth reading. Some of the influences are obvious. Some are based on a few sources.
This is in no way a bad book. It is better than a lot of similar books by better selling authors. The plot is one that hardly wastes a word and although the result is never really in doubt, you will appreciate how it gets there.
To use a double negative (I just want to), I wouldn't recommend that anyone shouldn't read this series. I just cannot recommend it in a crowded genre.

Third entry in this series about dragons of various types and means. Fairly similar to the first two entries, nothing spectacular, but good solid story telling which will intrigue younger readers and leave them satisfied.
