Very bright, engaging and beautiful illustrations. It continually uses the phrase "imagine" which encourages the reader to put themselves in another animal's shoes, in this way helping to develop empathy and broaden understanding of living in different realities. It is also a very factual book- teaching through fiction many of the actual habits of dolphins, the food chain in the ocean, and damage to the ocean and fish through commercial fishing. In this way it could be an excellent book to read as a springboard for other discussions and learning around the oceans and environmental/current issues. A very interesting and clever book.
