ضاقت عليّ الدائرة حتى أحاطتني وحيدا و التصقت حدودها ببنياني.. أصبحت غريبا في ذلك العالم البلاستيكيّ المُقنع. في غضون شهر أو أكثر، انتشر كالنار في الهشيم و تحول مستخدموه من مجرين معدودين في الظلام و الغرف المغلقة، إلي شعب لا يخفيه، و أسسّ وجوده في حياته حتى أصبح كاللباس ساترا للعورات و العيوب.

1 book13 followersأحمد فرغلي من مواليد الجيزة سنة ١٩٩٢. تخرج من مدرسة جمال عبد الناصر التجريبية عام ٢٠٠٩ قبل أن يلتحق بكلية الهندسة بإحدى الجامعات الخاصة. اشترك بالعمل في مجلة الجامعة ككاتب و محرر بالقسم العربي. نُشر له مقال في مجلة روز اليوسف في عدد يونيو ٢٠٠٩ و هو في ال١٧ من عمره. تحولت احدى قصصه القصيرة لفيلم أخرجته زميلة جامعية و طالبة بكلية الاعلام، كمشروع مطلوب في مادة الاخراج بالكلية و حاز العمل على تقدير امتياز.
صدر له عن دار مدبولي للنشر مجموعة قصصية بعنوان "اسكابيزم" في نوفمبر 2015.

Pros:
-I think that the general style of writing is interestingly descriptive and engaging.
-The creative language with which the stories were written planted me inside the writer's world.
-A total of 3 well written, engaging stories that I enjoyed.
Cons:
-In most of the stories I did not get the point, specially at the beginning of the book.
-They were more of descriptions than than they were stories. That is to say, a story, for example, would be talking about a scene inside a scene of something that is happening with no clue of what the big picture is.
-Many open endings that I did not get the point of.
Conclusion: I would very much like to see more of the stories like: Escapism, El badla, Tashaboh Asma2 in that creative manner, because these were the ones that I found closer to my taste and they have an actual plot and story-line to tell.

Escapism, بالطبع أعرف الكلمة التى تعنى الحالة الذهنية للهروب من الواقع" المرير عن طريق سبل الابتكار و الإستمتاع أو حتى التخيل..."
I couldn't think of a better title for this book. It's a 167 pages of escaping whatever reality you're living. It temporarily takes your mind off of your comfort zone, and by the time your mind is back, you feel a wave of harsh truths and your comfort zone is no longer comforting. It brings out a lot of "what ifs." It moves you to break free. It encourages you to rebel.
I felt a deep connection with the author. At many points, I felt he was telling my stories. My mind kept twisting and twirling around metaphors. Beautiful metaphors. My mind was in a constant state of arousal; imagining places, people, scents, feelings ...
You can't pin the author's exact style of writing which is interesting, knowing that you can't quite expect what's next. Sometimes he's sophisticated that you need to read between the lines and other times he's very simple that you wonder "is that it?"
Every story had a meaning behind it. A couple of them were a bit boring or in other words not normally what I like to read.
All in all, it's a well written book. I guarantee you'll find yourself in one of the stories.

الحقيقية الوحيدة ..هي ان الموت قريب يحيط بالجميع وأنه هو الفائز الحتمي الوحيد بهذه المعركة .
اسكابيزم هو بمنتهي البساطة حالة "بتخطفك" منك للعالم بتاعها وبتعيشك مع كل قصة تفاصيل مختلفة وبتكون انت جزء منها .
كل حكاية من العشرة وراها معني وحسيت بستمتاع وانا بشارك في الحكاية وافهم المعني اللي تقصده ايه .
في جزء من كل قصة هتلاقي جزء من موقف عديت بيه احساس حسيته او حتي ملامح منك وده بيولد احساس انك عارف الكاتب او في طريقة للتواصل بشكل مباشر .
اكتر قصص عجبتني وأثرت فيا بشكل شخصي هي
أو هكذا ظنت ،البدله ، اللجنة .
فرغلي انت حد موهوب جدا انا مش مصدقة ان ده اول عمل ليك ...طريقة الكتابة والمفردات المختلفة بتقول انك حد مميز في طريقة الكتابة وان شاء الله هيكون ليك مستقبل عظيم يا صديقي . مستنية تاني عمل بفارغ الصبر .
