This is a handy dandy guide to major modern buildings in Tokyo. Even though the emphasis is on post 1990 there are a smattering of buildings from the 1960s and 1970s covered. Each building gets just a glimpse - a photo and a few paragraphs. But it's amazing how much of the story of Japanese architecture can be captured in these portraits.
