About the author

John Foster taught English for twenty years before becoming a full-time writer. He is the author of over 100 books for classroom use including the best-selling PSHE and Citizenship course Your Life. He is also a highly regarded children's poet, anthologist and poetry performer.

Actually one of my favourite books of all time. I received it as a going-away present from my pre-school when leaving England for the US.

I think it was my first real poetry book. It's jam packed with all sorts of fun verses with amazing illustrations. I'm keeping it in the hopes that my children can enjoy it as much as I did,
