This book is a suspense mystery. A top government official is found dead. All evidence points to a suicide by drug overdose, or is it? This is furiously paced fiction and the novel breezes by rapidly. You won't be able to put this down till you've read the last page!

This is a well written book that can be read in one sitting. It slowly and meticulously reveals information that leads up to the climax. Would've been a 4 star book if there had been more plot twists.

Poison Woman is one of the rare books I've read that had me intrigued from beginning to end. The story is very well put together with just the right amount of mystery, adventure, thrill, and suspense that kept me captivated as I turned each page. All of the characters are extremely vividly described as you go through the book. This was actually my first time reading a book by Maya Shenoi and I have to say after this I am very impressed.

I downloaded this on a bit of a whim as I was unsure what to expect but I have to say this turned out to be a really great read. It's a very fast paced book from beginning to end and had me absolutely glued to it. Maya Shenoi did a fantastic job of writing in such a way that keeps you entertained throughout the entire book. I'm a big fan of crime books so I often am a hard critic yet this still really surprised me with a good story. Highly recommend for a great thrilling read.
