About the author

Bill wrote his first book when he was in the fifth grade. He wrote the book on notebook paper (his penmanship was good back then), cut the pages to size, made a cover of cardboard covered with construction paper, and hand lettered the title “Autumn”. Then he tied the book together with a shoestring (so it didn’t show) and turned it in. He got an “A” for the book. Since that time, his publishing tactics have changed somewhat, and his story telling ability has produced readers around the world.
