Born in Santiago de Chile. She is a journalist by profession, recognized publisher of children's books and founder of the Ekaré publisher. She has published numerous adaptations of stories and verses of Creole, Indian and European traditions, some of which have been translated into other languages. Author of several books, including: The buzzer mosquito, Diego and the magical lemons, Diego and pirate ship, Diego and the great flying kite.

Ha publicado numerosas adaptaciones de cuentos y versos de la tradición criolla, indígena y europea, algunas de las cuales han sido traducidas a otros idiomas.
