This is a good little field book to throw into your pack. Probably better for younger folk but not particularly practical? Anyways, its a fun little book to have on hand.

It seems like it could probably have more technical detail that would be welcome though I'm not sure how that would fit in. Basically this is pretty close but not quite on the mark for a really handy field guide. Maybe I'd change my mind if I used it more...

This was something that we read while out on a 10 day back country trip. We thought this would be a great book....it was pretty cheesy! since when are polar bears native to Ontario!!! and so many animals didn't make the cut. it was good for a laugh and my daughter attempted to us it a few times. I think it's great for kids!!! she seemed to live it and that's where my three stars come from

Super fun beginner reference guide for the field! Fits in a back pocket and gets your head in the right place to start looking out for what there is!
