Mrs Rowland talks about having a video camera on a writer’s head so they can see through their characters eyes and process their other senses. How this is done depends on the point of view the writer chooses for their novel. Mrs. Rowland describes the different types of points of view and which character should have it.
But this book is about much more that just points of view. It’s a summary of things a writer can do to make their novel better. Many examples are for the romance genre. They include scene definition, using dialog, flashbacks, and character motivation
This book is really about how to write a good novel. It would make an excellent addition to any writer’s collection.
