A good resource on Mannlicher rifles. Written for the collector/historian who may not be familiar with Austria-Hungary and has a nice little chapter summarizing the history of the empire for that audience. Also has a short section on Mannlicher himself and other key figures and weapons before Mannlicher adoption(good description on the Werndl rifles!). The text is nice and readable. the pictures are high quality and easily understood although even the new photos are in black & white. Sadly, this is one of the few good English language sources for this subject but it is a good one.
