I will admit I didn't go through this book because I thought it would help me lose weight, but because of the wild claim the title makes lead me to wonder what it contained. I've taken a lot of classes, read case studies, and enjoy learning about the science behind essential oils, and will often read books to see what they share and if it is sound advice or not. This one is ok, not great. I'll start with the not so good such as the title is misleading, and the author admits that not everyone will lose weight. She would have had more credibility with a different title. She shares is more to help with stress, appetite, etc. which could lead to weight loss. There are some helpful tips here for beginners. I appreciate that the author gives good advice on safety. She also is clear that not everything works the same for every person, which is correct. Overall the information is very high level, most can be found online. Not terrible but not great. I'd give it 2.5 stars.
I was very interested in this book when I saw the title. I am still exploring Aromatherapy and wanted to see what the author said about natural weight loss using essential oils. As a newbie I felt she did a wonderful job giving me enough information to help me get started, but the essential information to help me be safe. I was not too sure about her "Lose Massive Weight" claim on the front cover. But after reading the book I feel she did not make any false claims and explained who aromatherapy can change your desires and mind set about eating. Recently changing to a Paleo lift style and losing 80 pounds, I am very interested in ways to stay healthy and to not gain the weight back. I would recommend this book to anyone even vaguely interested in Essential Oils.
