The Catacomb Project: Hope for 2000 and Beyond Event Guide

Rate this book
The Catacomb Hope for 2000 and Beyond is a guide for adult leaders of youth that describes how to set up for and carry out this exciting youth event. The Catacomb Project is a nationwide, grassroots "lock-in of a lifetime" for teenagers. On Friday, December 31, 1999, youth will be "kidnapped and smuggled" into an as-true-to-life exile experience as possible. There will be danger, uncertainty, surprises, deep discussions of the Christian faith, and exotic food -- the stuff that gets kids interested and learning! In the early morning of Saturday, January 1, 2000, youth will awake to see their faith in Jesus deepened by the previous day's experience. They will end the event with songs of joy and hope; with a commission to go forth to live and practice their Christian beliefs; and with hope, knowing that in Jesus Christ, as revealed in the Scriptures, there is hope for all times.
