This is essentially a good introduction book to the world of investing and technical analysis. If you are new to the subject, the author does a great job at explaining the basics without being over complicated. If you are looking for an intermediate or advance documentation or analysis in the subject of investing, this book does not meet does requirements.
The author claims that this book works well for indices, sectors,commodities and single stocks, but there is NO serious backtesting done for any of the described methods. The first 5 chapters were an entertaining introduction but afterwards I was disappointed to not find more scientific and statistically relevant explanations,why the described methods are supposedly superior to other methods.
Good initial primer on technical trading, but pretty shallow...moving on to bigger and better things - Murphy's Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets - but that's going to take a while...
