Matthew was born again at the age of eight in a Baptist Church and quickly developed the ability to speak to Jesus and have Jesus speak back to him. With a life that has seen much sorrow he has developed a keen sense of compassion for all sorts of people. Called as a prophet from birth it wasn’t till 2005 that he realised that he was called as a prophet. Over the past twenty years he has been used by God to deliver over twenty thousand personal prophecies to people, the majority of which were given to total strangers. Matthew is well versed in hearing Jesus speak though him. With an intimate relationship with Jesus, Matthew lives to lead people closer to the Jesus that he has come to know so well. Through this book, "Jesus Speaking Today" Matthew hopes people might come to know the voice of the Master better.

I listened to the Audible audio version of this book.

"This Was An Amazing Book "

This was a terrific listen. In JESUS SPEAKING TODAY, Matthew Robert Payne speaks/writes as Jesus in first person. It's as if you're having a personal conversation with Jesus himself. He covers every topic that concerns us today, yesterday, and tomorrow in a positive, non-preachy way that's easy to relate to. I loved this audiobook. It was truthful, glorious, and I'll listen to this one again. For Christians today, this is a worthwhile book that I'd recommend.

One of the things that made this a great audio listen was the narration. Brian McKiernan sounded terrific. He spoke slowly and clearly. His voice was perfect for this book. It was as if he was speaking directly to me. A one on one conversation that made this entirely cohesive.

Wonderful Read

I give 5 stars because this book is fascinating. I am going to try to connect with Mr. Payne, his book has everything I need in my life. You must keep an open mind when reading and keep your faith high. This book is highly recommend to those who want to know more about our Lord Jesus Christ.

Very insightful

Love the way there are lessons in here. Wish he had more like this maybe one with the Holy Spirit. I highlighted alot of things I want to talk to Jesus about. Thank you Matthew for this book

Jesus Speaking Today is an amazing book! Matthew Robert Payne writes Jesus in first person and it is very encouraging to hear Jesus speaking out loud via the audio book. I listened to it twice in a row. Brian McKiernan did an amazing job reading Jesus Speaking Today. I will definitely be listening to this audio book again. Highly recommended!!!

This was not what I was expecting and, quite frankly, the format can be a little disconcerting. Matthew writes as if Jesus were speaking directly through him. Regardless of the format of the writing, the message is a good one...Jesus' message of love and forgiveness should be heeded today just as it was 2,000 years ago.
