Cloak of the Demon by Corbin Dunn follows the character Bastian the Draft Officer in the city of Geyser Springs. In a world torn apart by war, the draft officers are enacted to bring in those evading the draft. One particular draft evader drags Bastian into a world that he didn’t know existed and changes the entire course of his life. Corbin crafts a believable world that we all can fall into and don’t want to escape from.
