The heroine got on my nerves. Her father takes her brother, and she is stuck with her mom after the divorce.. She talks about how horrid her mother is, how much she misses her brother BUT once she turns 18 she DOES NOT move up to texas to be closer to her dad and brother but follows her MOTHER's Dream of becoming a doctor!
Push over much?
Then she goes and becomes a doctor 8 years later, but she hates it?
What a robot took over your body? You can't speak up for yourself?
So, then she gets call from brother about dad passing away and all of a sudden she goes to Texas? Then when she pulls up, she has no idea they are bikers? You have PHD you ding dong you can't be that naive.. and then her multiple personalities hit.. she is this smart doctor/naive woman/ a bad ass/ speaks her mind, punches her brother in the nose.. You're needing meds honey!
And then it ends in a cliffy! No way will I buy the next one, just wasted a couple hours of my time on this!

If there is one thing I hate more than anything is when an author leaves a book with a cliffhanger and doesn't tell you in the synopsis so you can be prepared. If you don't like cliffhangers don't read this book. The book was good, but INCOMPLETE!

HFN and Cliffhanger alert. Quite a short book.
Heroine is suppose to be portrayed as a push over and naive...but then suddenly she's a gun toting, fist punching, foul mouthed woman. Which I normally totally love, but wow, what a jump from one to the other. I might read the next book.

This is the first book in the Devil's Descendants MC series. (Not that you would know it was the first in a series since it does not state that.) The beginning of the book was a little boring, I put it down a few times & came back to it. I just want to be very clear about something ... THIS IS BOOK ONE & THERE IS A FUCKING CLIFFHANGER !! Lacie Perce grew up in Oklahoma with her controlling, overbearing bitch Mother. When she was 10 years old her Mother sent her older brother Ryan to live with their Dad in Texas. Her Mother hated her Dad, she looked down on him & thought she was a better person. She only saw her Dad & Ryan like once a year but they loved her & were very proud of her. It's now present day & Lacie hasn't talked to her Mother in three years, she is now a surgeon working at a hospital in Oklahoma. She gets a call from Ryan telling her their Dad has died & could she come to Texas because he needs to talk to her. Lacie goes to Texas & is shocked when she finds out her brother (who is known as Force) is the President of an MC, taking over for their deceased Dad. After the shock wears off Lacie realizes that Ryan is her only family left & she wants to know him better. At Ryan's urging she decides to move to Texas, live at the clubhouse & she gets a job at the local hospital. Titan is the Road Captain of the Devil's Descendants & Force asks him to keep an eye on Lacie & make sure she's safe. Titan tries to fight his attraction to Lacie because of Force but it's too strong & she's not making it easy. When Lacie gets kidnapped by a rival MC Titan realizes he loves her & he makes a deal with the devil to find her. I should have stopped before I read the epilogue, the ending was fine BUT THE EPILOGUE SUCKED A BIG OL' BAG OF SALTY DICKS !! Her brother is a big fat piece of dog shit & her BFF, Sara is a snatch & I hope TITAN KILLS BOTH OF THEM IN THE NEXT BOOK !

Oh boy! Now I know badass biker dudes are all the rage in the world of romance novels these days... But i really have to say of all the books i read, this has to be the worst. Bad descriptions, you never know where most things are happening. There's hardly any concept of time. The heroines thoughts and the things she says are repetitive. And how the hell does a doctor, someone educated, act like a 15 year old spoiled brat who has temper tantrum and goes around punching people in the face? Seriously? How the hell this ever got 4 stars is a mystery to me.

Very good start to series

It need editing bad but it's not so bad it takes from the story. The storyline is great. It's exciting. I really like La vie and her personality. Titan and Lacie have some sexy hot scenes. The epilogue threw for a loop and has me hating Force.

A great debut!!! I really enjoyed this story and I'm totally Team Titan. I loved his and Lacie's characters and relationship. However, I went back and forth with this book between 3 stars and 4 stars with the reason being it really needs quite a bit of editing. The errors were pretty easy to look over but ultimately it should be revised, in my opinion. But 4 stars won out because it really did keep me intrigued til the very end, and I love a book that keeps me guessing, and this book did just that. It does end with a small cliffhanger but those do not bother me. Looking forward to more of the story.

I'm seriously pissed that this book was only 120 pages I never even looked & would normally not even have bought it, but I'm so glad I did bc I absolutely loved it but am hoping that this is not going to be dragged out into too many books. Gritty book with enough biker action & not too many sex scenes which i loved about it, but would have liked a bit of angst which there wasn't.

I loved this book. It was short and sweet, but still had action and great sex scenes. Lacie was adorable and a badass all at the same time. I loved the connection she had with the guys in the club. Titan is every girls fantasy. Great biker erotica book.
