From USA Today and New York Times bestselling author, Terry Towers, comes her newest long awaited novel, The Tattoo Artist and the Girl from the Coffee Shop.
Chase Gamble. His name should have warned her right from the start.
He's cocky and smooth. He's the stereotypical bad boy complete with the sleek motorcycle and the body adorned with tattoos. Tessa knows he's the last man any woman should fall for, but she can't help herself - his steel blue eyes and cocky smile are like a drug. It's impossible to stay away, not until she knows every secret Chase Gamble keeps tightly guarded.

This is the third book I have read by Terry Towers, and it certainly won't be the last!
So here were some things I liked: *Tessa & Chase were quite adorable together. These two characters start as complete mysteries to the reader, so you really get to know them as they get to know one another! *GREAT sexual chemistry between the hero and heroine! Steamy steamy steamy! * Very fast paced and not drawn out. *The lack of drama in their relationship was quite refreshing.
Some things I didn't like: *There were MANY errors in terms of sentence structure. Run-ons galore! Also, I don't know if it was my copy of the book, but there were pages in which you'd have a sentence that would abruptly end, and then start again a few lines later. I didn't judge my review based on that, but omg- it gave me such a headache! *The epilogue left me very unfulfilled !
Overall, I would recommend this book to my GR friends!
Thank you Terry Towers for the opportunity to read and review this book! :-)
OK, so Terry Towers is one of my favorite go-to authors that I know I can always count on for some great writing. This book was no exception, it was a quick-paced read with no drawn out drama, it was light on angst but don't be fooled there was just enough to keep me holding my breath a few times:) What I love about Terry Towers writing is that she is a no-nonsense story-teller and as usual this was true to her nature, it was fast paced, it was straight to the point, it was sweet and it was very sexy and I just loved everything about it:)
I loved Tessa and oh gosh, did I love and lust over Chase. Their story was so sweet and sexy and I really hope I get more of them in future! So why only 4.5 Stars and not 5 well for me personally I wanted "more" in that Epilogue, lololol, like maybe a double Epilogue, hehehehe!!!! That's just me and my reading quirks, I want the no questions asked, 100% full and completely satisfied feeling if that makes sense. I am not a big HFN person but that's just me and it certainly doesn't take away from a really great story:)
Congrats and Welcome Back, Terry Towers, another fabulous job!
This is a great new story from Terry Towers in the Coffee Shop series. This story features the MC of Chase Gamble & Tessa Wilcott. Tessa meets Chase when she goes to him to get a tattoo done and their romance takes flight from there. She also has attention from another man named Eric. Tessa wants to open a café and start a new life. Into this comes a new relationship but there are several twists and hidden secrets that come about. Tessa and Chase are two souls that have pain in their past. Will they be able to break free and come together or will Eric come between them and cause a huge rift. Loved Samantha, Tessa best friend from her job …would love to see a story involving Eric and see him get his own story. The passion and heat between Tessa and Chase is combustible. I have missed the author’s stories and I enjoyed reading this new stories and I cannot wait for another new story since I devour her books so fast, they are like chocolate , yummy and sinful. Chase with his tattoos and alpha behavior will keep you glued to the pages and Tessa will make you root for her because of how sweet and sassy she is, and of how you want her to have her HEA. I do say keep an eye on Eric…there is something about him..
My Rating: 4.6 stars ****

I loved this book!! Don't be surprised if it makes you wanna get a tattoo!!!! Well written, with a good plot and a few twists, emotionally complexed characters and heat, Tessa and Chase's story is captivating!!! I honestly think the end came too soon, i wanted and still want more!!!! With their sexy chemistry and their secrets they make this book extremely difficult to put down!! I Loved every minute of it!!! I loved it so much that i really want to know what happens next, so do i dare ask for a sequel?! While i am waiting for it to happen, i must say that Terry Towers did it again! Another amazing book!!! So once again: Two Thumbs Up!!!!
Ok, the story line was what got me interested, even though there wasn't much to it. It made Chase sound more mysterious than he is. There were a couple of funny scenes. Surprise of the sex toys. But, it wasn't enough.
Looking back on my Terry Towers books shelf I have read 13 of her books. I've always enjoyed her stories and this is no exception. However, I believe this is the best.
Chase and Tessa are amazing characters together. As individuals I see them as incredible people who have struggled in life but together they are a force of strength and passion. I'm not going to give a synopsis of this book. You can read that everywhere. I'm going to tell you I have found my passion of reading again. I slowed down my reading for personal reasons but Chase and Tessa's story has brought me back. The writing is fantastic, the passion is hot, but the underlined meaning is what is truly the best.
It's a must read!! Thank you Terry Towers for this opportunity.
I enjoyed the book but you could figure out pretty early what was going to happen. Chase and Tessa meet and start forming a bonding but another guy is also trying to see Tessa. She only goes out with him due to her coworker setting it up behind her back. She goes on the date but informs him at the end that its no going further. Her and Chase continues to get closer and closer. Tessa rents a building to open her cafe and Eric turns out to be the landlord. Once again Tessa tells him everything will stay strictly business. She attends a family function with Chase and finally meets the brother and you guessed it Eric. Read and see what happens next.
It was a little hard to get into, mainly because I am used to reading books in first person POV and this was written in third person. I liked the storyline, there were some nice build ups to conflict, but wished there was more "meat" to the actual conflict. Seemed to blow over too quickly. The characters were likeable. The part about the kitchen drawer was funny, but have to ask, why the kitchen drawer of all places lol. I have read other books by this author and look forward to reading more.
This wonderful story grabbed ahold of my emotions from the beginning and held them and my attention firmly in hand until the end. I have always enjoyed Terry Towers' work, and I found this book to be just as enjoyable if now more so than the ones I have read prior to it. Chase and Tessa are beautifully damaged and well rounded characters who find their redemption and happiness in each other, and I loved seeing them achieve their HEA!
*potential spoiler* got the drawer of sex toys in chapter 3 and decided this wasn't for me......not that I have anything against a decent sex toy plot but this was not one of these. Despite the fact the concept of this story showed promise the characters lacked depth and the story was weak well what I read of it. You want a good tattoo artist story read The mad tatter instead
I received this ARC a couple of weeks ago and it's not my first one. I've read several books by Terry Towers so far and I like her style. It's laid back, ideal for a holiday reading or a relaxing weekend. Her love stories are beautiful, simple, with no cliff hangers, easy to read. And this book is just like that. I enjoyed it a lot. It was like a breath of fresh air.
Loved this book! Tessa and chase are exciting to read about. a little laughter and sex makes a great relationship. this is a story really worth reading. it's fast paced and its great writing. I would love to see what happens with Eric though.
Great little quick read. Super fun and fourth characters! Tessa is floundering in life since her mom passed away. She decides to get a tribute tattoo and falls for the hunky tattoo artist
This book was nice. It was entertaining and sweet. The storyline was spot on. The characters were great. The twist in the plot gave it an edge. The ending was good.
