Freddie’s a gypsy and a fighter, if you can call someone who wins fixed fights "a fighter".
Olivia just has to get through one night to get her money back -- the money Freddie stole from her.
Nothing’s ever that easy, is it? Olivia may be ready to go toe-to-toe with the tattooed hunk, but she's diving head-first into a world she never bargained for.
And Freddie's inner-wolf doesn’t like to lose.
Readers be warned! BITE contains explicit love scenes, naughty language and sexy shifter secrets. Intended for mature audiences.
Argh ... well ... what do I say. This just seemed pointless, there wasn't really romance, Freddie was offensive and just a dickhead. The plot was flimsy.
But the writing was good which made it easy to read but that's about all I actually liked.
Olivia is a criminal; a small time bootlegger for the most part, but she cannot seem to stay out of trouble. Her bad decisions take her first into the path of Freddie, a gypsy who is definitely not the kind of man you introduce to your mother, and then later, a very powerful man who can’t wait to kill her. She uses her criminal not quite master-mind to get herself out of scrape after scrape, and she can’t seem to shake the cocky gypsy off her tail. Do not miss the chance to indulge in this book. It is different, Freddie is hot, but by no means a gentleman, and Olivia is a cunning and extremely funny character. The interactions between the characters, in particular the bedroom scenes, were refreshingly different and realistic. I also enjoyed the ‘Olivia’s Guide tips’, and I will definitely be reading more from this author.
WOW, What a great story with some great twist and turns that you wouldn't believe. I loved the story line and plot. Man was Freddie and Olivia hot together or what. This was my first book by Ilia Bera and I'm wasn't disappointed. I can't wait to read more. Keep up the great work. I received a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.
Didn't feel like any type of romance was included. Also, as you know,I love hea. This wasn't really that. Pretty much bored the entire time. Torn between reading the other book, or writing the author off.
