The Anabaptists were a very faithful and devoted group of Christian believers that often stood strong in the face of intense hatred and persecution. This is not a long book but don't for a second doubt its value. Not only will you learn some of the thoughts of devotion by noted Anabaptists such as Menno Simons, Michael Sattler, Balthasar Hubmaier, and others, but this book presents a variety of ways for Christians to enhance their own spirituality and devotional times. I read about many of these Anabaptists when I was young and their heroism and faith has always served as a great example to follow not matter what I thought about some of their theological leanings. But this is not a book about their theological preferences. It's about pure faith and devotion and I don't think anyone has ever said that they were off the beat in that area. This is a short book but do take your time in reading it. It is not meant to be read fast, but instead soak it in and learn to pray and meditate from it.
