O carte apărută în 1994 și care răspunde întrebării din subtitlu: Cum să fii un bărbat de impact? Esența mesajului este una teologică și soluțiile înclină mai degrabă în această direcție teoretică și nu înspre una practică, deși exemplele de comportament abundă și pot fi culese de către un cititor dornic să le experimenteze . Ideile nu sunt neapărat inovatoare, mai ales după aproape două decenii, dar sunt relevante și folositoare. Unele concepții s-ar părea să sune învechite sau potrivite unei anumite nișe teologice, dar ceea ce contează este mai degrabă mesajul ca atare. Punctele controversate rămîn la latitudinea cititorului să fie dezbătute. Cred că este folositoare ca un deschizător de discuții pentru a înțelege mai bine rolul pe care trebuie să îl joace un bărbat în cadrul comunității de care aparține și la nivel personal, o meditație pentru acele persoane care simt îndemnul să devină patriarhi.

This book had some useful and important information about how boys need to become men and men need to become patriarchs. I can’t say I 100% agree with everything the author says, but I’ve learned a great deal about what maturity is and how you should approach it from the perspective of the Bible. It was helpful, especially for the stage of life that I’m at and I would recommend it for guys preparing for marriage and not only, for boys who are ready to make the next step in their walk with Hod and towards maturity.
