Proverbs by David Hubbard is just amazing. I love how he expounded on the major issues found in each chapter of this wonderful book. Since each chapter addresses a variety of issues and topics, Hubbard so deftly navigated through the major themes found within each chapter and seamlessly added verses from other chapters that focused on similar themes. I appreciated how he unpacked the language and literary devices used by the writers of Proverbs. I highly recommend this commentary.
