Very practical and helpful book for those involved with small churches.
The lean was definitely towards established churches that are small, rather than slowly growing church plants.
I think the book would have been sharpened by a better editor. I struggled to follow the different sections and the structure, and I think that contributions from others would have been better if weaved into the narrative, rather than as multiple pull outs.
For me, I appreciated knowing that there ate other small churches with similar struggles, I lived the stories of the unsung heroes (the 91 year-old youth worker) and some very practical tools, including learning that the letters to the churches in the Bible book of Revelation take the form of a SWOT analysis!
