This book contains a study of pre-Columbian roads in the river basin of the upper Calima river, the western Cordillera and the Cauca Valley. In all Marianne Cardale de Schrimpff studies six such roads from aerial photographs and surface reconnaisance, and maps the various routes located. Photographs of the unpaved roads, along with descriptions of their construction and other features, are included.
