This is a beautiful survey of the history of quilts in America. Lovely photographs and notations about when and sometimes why certain patterns were popular at different times. It even includes a couple patterns in the back. Since reading, I have been able to identify different types of quilts in some of the older shows I am watching, very fun!
I picked this up at a thrift store to gift to my mother. This is part of a series of country living and the other books looked well done.
